2001 10 Meter Zodiac Hurricane. Two boats were purchased from us with the intension of a full restoration of both vessels. Part of the restoration included a Non Air collar system that we have developed over the past few years. This allows our customers the look and impact resistance known to air collars without the hassle of air or inflation bladders. We start with dismantling and prepping of the hull. Then off to the weld shop for the adjustments needed to accept the new collar system. From there off to paint to seal up the aluminum. Once painted the boat goes back into our collar shop where the installation process begins. Multiple laminated sections of variable density foam is applied to the hull side. Once the thickness is constructed it is sanded and shaped into a collar. The outer sheath of multiple layer colored fabric is applied along with a protective boot.
